Nuclear physics is a branch of physics that study about the atomic nuclei. This phenomenon could happen to a lot of elements from uranium to plutonium. Nuclear physics could happen because of the force from the strong interaction that happen in the element. the study of nuclear physics is actually started by Bacquerrel when he founder a photographics plate were darken when it's put near a certain mineral. This groundbreaking invention was created before the era of quantum mechanics so it's make a lot of question .    2 years after Bacquerel's discovery, the Curies (Pierre and Marie Curie) separate radium (Z=88) from the ore. It was realize that the chemical properties are changed . It also discovered that there were 3 different activity when it' s placed near a magnetic field.
